Meditation is the foundation of any good breakfast.

I am self taught in nearly every aspect of the word: I have been a chef, genetic engineer, counselor, ecologist, business manager, sculptor, philosopher, computer tech, poet, amateur astronomer, statistician, best friend, musician, Zen Buddhist, photographer, producer, director, cinematographer, actor, waiter, avid reader, great kisser, lover and full-time single father.

I like to joke around too. ( I really have done all the above)

What I enjoy most in my day is establishing intimate (heart to heart) connections between people that allow each of us to grow towards our dreams and life aspirations. I like it when things “happen.” When I meet someone new, one of the first questions I ask them is, “If time and money weren’t an issue, what would you do with your life?” Everyone has an answer to that question. After talking with them a while, I inevitably ask them, “what could you do today to take one small step towards that dream?” Of all of the people that I have asked, I have watched a handful change directions in their lives, make new choices and make some of their life’s passions take hold. It motivates me to take one step further along what I believe is my calling; or better put, my aching

I am a realist, pragmatist and a free thinker, I believe that one of my purposes in life is to show others the beauty in life from different human perspectives. My belief is that I am, in some way, the eyes and ears of humanity. Though I would guess that I don’t have that huge of an ego to go along with such a claim. I am hear to see, learn, interpret and tell a story or two that might change the lives of people, or make them at least laugh.

To help me along, I own a video production company that has the aim of changing the way people see the world. I focus on documentary film production on issues ranging from the arts, non-violent protesters, third world poverty, love compassion and immigration. I also have worked on commercial, cartoon, and theatrical productions. When I am behind the camera, my goal is to look for “god” in the details. I am often surprised at what I find.
